(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 24) – The McKendree University swimming and diving teams will host its toughest meet of the season on Friday with Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) opponents, Drury University and University of Indianapolis coming to the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. Diving is set to begin at 9:30am with swimming to follow at 1:00pm.
 
On the men's side, Drury is ranked No. 8 and UIndy is ranked No. 2. For the women, Drury is ranked No. 3 and UIndy is No. 7.
 
McKendree men are currently ranked No. 4 and the women are No. 24.
 
The Bearcats recently hosted Division-I University of Evansville on Friday, Oct. 18. The men came out on top 188-98 and the women were defeated 155.5-142.5. On Saturday, McKendree went to GLVC member Truman State for a dual meet. The Bearcat men continued their dominant ways in a 178-80 defeat of the Bulldogs while the women fell 179.5-80.5.
 
McKendree will also compete in the Lindenwood Invite this Saturday beginning at 10:00am.
