(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 4) – The McKendree University women's hockey team seeks its first win as it heads on the road for the first road series of the season. The Bearcats will travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to take on Davenport University on Saturday and Sunday.
Puck drop is slated for 9:30p.m. ET on Saturday and 10:30a.m. ET on Sunday.
The Bearcats enter the weekend 0-2 after opening the season against the two toughest teams in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) in Lindenwood-Belleville and Liberty.
This matchup marks the first between McKendree and Davenport since the 2017-18 season where the Bearcats shutout the visiting Panthers 3-0. The two teams also met in the inaugural McKendree season back in 2016-17 that saw a 2-0 Bearcat shutout.

The Panthers will open up their season this weekend with the two game series with McKendree. Davenport was 8-19 in the 2018-19 season.
