Women’s Hockey Set for Three Home Games this Weekend

(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 14) – The McKendree University women's hockey team is set to host three games this weekend. Friday's matchup is against Adrian College and Saturday, Sunday is against Grand Valley State University. Puck drop is slated for 7:00pm on Friday, Saturday and 1:00pm on Sunday.
 
The Bearcats sit at 6-4 overall on the season and post a four game winning streak. McKendree returns to the ice after its 3-2 victory over Minnesota on Nov. 1.
 
Offensively, freshman Camryn Scully (Prince George, BC, Canada/Prince George Secondary School) leads the way with seven goals, five assists, and 12 points. Senior Lara Wentz (Bismark, ND/) isn't far behind with seven goals, four assists, and 11 points. Junior Callie Hoadley (Hanover, MA/Hanover High School), sophomore Kayla Waldbillig (West Kelowna, BC, Canada/Mount Boucherie Secondary School), and freshman Quinn Atchison (Victoria, BC, Canada/Belmont Seconday School) tie Scully for the team lead in assists with five.
 
In the crease, sophomore Naomi Leasck (St. Louis, MO/Lindbergh High School) posts a 4-4 record, 2.18 goals against average, and .921 save percentage with one shutout.
 
About Adrian
The visiting Bulldogs come in at 3-2 overall on the season. The Bearcats were narrowly edged in the team's four meetings last season, all but one decided by one goal. Leah Williams is the offensive leader for Adrian with five goals, two assists, and seven goals. Huntyr Bosher facilitates the offense with a team-high four assists.
 
Dana Colombo is the primary netminder for the Bulldogs with a 3-2 record, 1.61 goals against average, and .947 save percentage with three shutouts.
 
About Grand Valley State
The Lakers have a record of 4-7 so far on the season. McKendree swept the series between the teams last year, posting 1-0 victories. Allison Stapleton leads the way with eight goals and 10 points on the season. Alexis Peterson is the leader in assists with five.
 
In net, Morgan Lang posts a 2-4 record, 4.75 goals against average, and .897 save percentage with one shutout.
