(LEBANON, Ill., Dec. 13) –
The McKendree University men's basketball team will compete in the 2019 Quincy Holiday Classic Saturday and Sunday in Quincy, Ill. The Bearcats will face Lincoln University Saturday at 1 p.m. and Hannibal-LaGrange Sunday also at 1 p.m.

McKendree is currently 4-3 overall on the season and 1-0 in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) competition. The Bearcats opened up conference play on Dec. 3 with a win over Southern Indiana, who at the time was ranked ninth in the nation, 68-64.

There are four Bearcats averaging double-digit figures on the season, senior guard Logan Kohrmann (Bartelso, IL/Breese Central) leads the pack with 115 total points on the season and a 16.4 points-per-game average. Junior guard Oliver Stephen (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) is next for McKendree averaging 14.9 points-per game with 104 total on the season. Freshman forward Bryson Bultman (Nashville, IL/Nashville) and sophomore forward Aleksa Popovic (Belgrade, Serbia/BC Partizan Belgrade) round out the Bearcats double-figure average players, Bultman averaging 11 points-per-game and Popovic with 10.9 points-per-game.

Rebound leaders for McKendree are Bultman, freshman forward Jakobie Robinson (Indianapolis, IN/Warren Central), and Kohrmann. Bultman leads the team with 56 total rebounds, Robinson is next with 40, and Kohrmann is close behind with 33. Off Bultman's 56 rebounds, 17 are offensive. Robinson, Kohrmann, and Bultman have also recorded double-digit steals on the season for the Bearcats, Robinson with 14, Kohrmann with 11, and Bultman with 10.

As a team, McKendree is averaging more points-per-game than its opponents, 78.9 to 64.7. The Bearcats are also have higher shooting averages than their opponents in field goals, three pointers and free throws.

The Bearcats will have one more game in 2019 on Dec. 17 against Austin Peay State in Clarksville, Tenn. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

ABOUT LINCOLN UNIVERSITY:
Lincoln is 3-5 overall on the season and 1-1 in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) competition.

The Blue Tigers are coming off an 89-66 win over Missouri Western State University. Lincoln had five players record double-digit points in the game. Bansi King led the way with 15, Lamont Ballard was next with 12, Jordan Notch followed with 11 points, and Marcel Burton and Jonell Burton rounded out the efforts with 10 points each.

Lincoln has three players averaging double-figure points on the season. Jonell Burton is the Blue Tigers lead score averaging 18.3 points-per-game. Cameron Potts and Marcel Burton are also averaging double figures, Potts with 11.8 and Burton with 10.

ABOUT HANNIBAL-LAGRANGE:
Hannibal-LaGrange is 1-7 overall on the season and 0-4 in the American Midwest Conference as a National Association of Intercollegiate (NAIA) member.

In their last game, the Trojans lost 66-59 to Lyon College. Hannibal had two players tally double digit points in the game. Michael Hood and Ryan Ward each finished the game with 18 points.
