(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 26) – The McKendree University softball team will play host to the Bearcats of Southwest Baptist University on Wednesday, February 27. The two games will be the first on Bearcat Field for the 2019 season.
 
McKendree returns to the diamond after finishing 2-2 against the Cardinals of Saginaw Valley State University in two separate doubleheaders last weekend, the third game and second win of the weekend notching head softball coach Ashley Fleming's 100^th win at the helm for McKendree.
 
The Bearcats of Southwest Baptist are currently 1-8 on the season, most recently going 0-2 against Rockhurst University in doubleheader action Tuesday, February 26.
