(LEBANON, Ill., Mar. 1) – The McKendree University softball team will host the Jennies of the University of Central Missouri this Saturday, March 2 with game one beginning at noon and game two beginning at 2 p.m.
 
The Bearcats, currently 7-7 overall, return to the diamond after finishing 2-0 against the Bearcats of Southwest Baptist University, which included a 6-0 shutout performance by McKendree pitchers Miranda Gajewski (Kronenwetter, WI/D.C. Everest), Hannah Murphy (O'Fallon, MO/Fort Zumwalt North), and Whitney Boschert (Wentzville, MO/Francis Howell High School).
 
The Jennies of Central Missouri are currently 6-5 on the season, most recently defeating Illinois-Springfield 13-9 this past Thursday, February 28.
