(SPRINGFIELD, Ill., Mar. 22) – The McKendree University softball team heads on the road to the University of Springfield-Illinois to battle the Prairie Stars in a Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) doubleheader this Saturday, March 22.
 
The Bearcats are currently 13-15 on the season and are looking for their first GLVC win this weekend.
 
Illinois Springfield is currently 13-13 overall and 2-2 in GLVC play, most recently getting swept by Southern Indiana in a doubleheader on Sunday, March 17.
