(LEBANON, Ill., Mar. 7) – The McKendree University softball team will host the Rangers of Wisconsin-Parkside in a Friday, March 8 doubleheader, followed by another doubleheader against the Peacocks of Upper Iowa University on Saturday, March 9.
The Bearcats, currently 8-8 overall, return to the diamond after splitting games against the Jennies of Central Missouri last Saturday, March 2.
The Rangers are currently 0-14 this season, most recently falling to no. 15 Winona State 6-1 on Saturday, February 23. For the 2019 season, Parkside's graduate assistant coach is former Bearcat All-American
Brooke Gajewski (Kronenwetter, Wis./D.C. Everest) who will be making her first appearance as a coach on Bearcat Field. Games against the Rangers will begin at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
The Peacocks of Upper Iowa are currently 6-2 on the year, defeating Concordia-St. Paul in their most recent contest. Games against the Peacocks will begin at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
