(TIFFIN, Ohio, Mar.8) – The McKendree University women's lacrosse team fell to the Dragons of Tiffin University tonight by a score of 13-8. The Bearcats are now 0-2 on the season, while Tiffin improves to 4-2.
Tiffin ran out to a quick 3 goal lead to start the game, and the Bearcats played catch up for the remainder of the game. Offensively, McKendree was led by senior captain
Emily Nelson (Deephaven, MN/Holy Family Catholic), who totaled five points on the day by scoring four goals and tallying one assist. Defensively, senior captain
Hannah Sugarman (Holden, MA/Wachusett Regional) caused two turnovers while picking up five ground balls.
The Bearcats return to the field this Sunday, March 10 when they take on the University of Findlay in an 11 a.m. road matchup.
