(LIBERTY, Mo., Apr. 26) - The McKendree University softball team will be finishing out their 2019 schedule on the road this weekend, starting with a doubleheader against William Jewell on Saturday, April 27 and concluding with another pair of games against Rockhurst on Sunday, April 28. 

The Bearcats, currently 18-30 on the year and 3-19 in Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play aim to end the season on a high note against two fellow GLVC competitors.

The Cardinals of William Jewell enter Saturday's matchup with a 22-22 overall record and a 8-14 showing in GLVC competition, most recently splitting a doubleheader against Emporia State University on tuesday, April 23. The Hawks of Rockhurst head into Sunday's doubleheader with a 20-23 overall record and 7-15 GLVC record after most recently getting swept by Maryville University this past Saturday, April 20.
