(O'FALLON, Ill., Jan. 18) – The McKendree University women's hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision against Midland on Saturday afternoon at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. The Bearcats outshot the visiting Warriors 24-23 in the loss.
 
The Bearcats fall to 10-7 overall on the season.
 
Midland jumped ahead early with a goal four minutes into the opening period. Despite the goal, McKendree poured on 13 shots compared to two from the Warriors.
 
After a scoreless second period, Midland scored three unanswered goals in the final period to secure a 4-0 victory over McKendree.
 
The Bearcats will be back at the rink next Saturday, January 25 at home against Rhode Island.
