TRUMAN STATE SEASON STATISTICS 

(LEBANON, Ill., Jan. 22) – The McKendree University women's basketball team is set to resume GLVC competition with home games against Quincy, Truman State. The Bearcats will take on the Hawks of Quincy on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and the Bulldogs of Truman State on Saturday at 1 p.m.

McKendree is coming off a short break after taking on Southern Indiana this past Monday. The Bearcats fell to the Screaming Eagles on the road 72-51. Senior guard Madison Hart (Oak Creek, WI/Oak Creek) recorded a double-double in the game marking her fourth of the season and second consecutive double-double game.

Senior guard Jordan Heberg (Romeoville, IL/Plainfield North) and sophomore guard Jenna Krause (Seymour, WI/Seymour) lead the team in scoring, each currently averaging double figure points per game. Heberg leads the pack with 15 points per game on average while Krause follows suit will 11 points per game on average. Heberg has a .406 shotting percentage from the field goal range and .33 percent from behind the three point line.

For the Bearcats defense, Hart leads the team in rebounds with 170 overall on the season earning the only double digit average rebound per game stat line for McKendree. With Hart's impressive rebounding numbers on the season, she sits in third place in the GLVC for her 10.5 average rebounds per game. Senior forward Brianna Johnson (Lodi, WI/Beaver Dam) is also a key defensive player for the Bearcats with 84 rebounds on the season.

The Bearcats will begin a four-game road stretch next, taking on GLVC newcomer Lindenwood first on Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m.

ABOUT QUINCY:
Quincy is 6-10 overall on the season and 2-6 in the GLVC after falling to Truman State 64-57 this past Monday in its last contest. The Hawks have four players averaging double-digit points on the season. Maddie Spagnola leads the team with 12.5, Aleksandra Petrovic follows with 11.2, Laney Lantz is close behind with 11, and Alexa Low rounds out the efforts with 10.2 average points per game. Ella Gobals and Low lead the team in rebounds, Gobals with 93 and Low with 91 rebounds on the season.

ABOUT TRUMAN STATE:
Truman State is 11-4 overall on the season and 7-1in GLVC competition after defeating Quincy University 64-57 in its last contest this past Monday. The Bulldogs have four players averaging double-digit points per game. Hannah Belanger leads the team with 13.2, Sloane Totta follows with 12.4, Katie Jaseckas is next with 10.6, and Katey Klucking rounds out the efforts with 10.5 average points per game. Maddie Re leads the team in rebounds with 156 total rebounds on the season.
