(LEBANON, Ill., Jan. 24) – The McKendree University women's hockey team is set to host the University of Rhode Island on Saturday for a single game at 12:30pm. The contest will be played in the junior rink at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex.
The Bearcats currently sit at 10-7 overall, splitting last weekend's games against Massachusetts and Midland. McKendree defeated UMass 1-0 before falling to Midland 4-0.
On the season, senior
Lara Wentz (Bismark, ND/) leads the offense with 10 goals, seven assists, and 17 total points. Senior

Naomi Leasck (St. Louis, MO/Lindbergh High School) is the primary netminder with a 5-7 record, 2.38 goals against average, and .911 save percentage with two shutouts. Most recently posting a shutout against UMass last weekend.
