(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 19) – The McKendree University men's basketball team is set to face Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill., on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The Bearcats will then return home for its final home contest of the 2019-20 season with a 3:00 p.m. game against the Prairie Stars of Illinois Springfield.

The game on Saturday is both Alumni Day and Senior Day for McKendree. The six seniors for the Bearcats will be honored before the start of the game on Saturday. Alumni will then be recognized at halftime.

McKendree sits 12-12 overall on the season and 7-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). In its last matchup, the Bearcats defeated Lindenwood University 80-68 in a come from behind victory at home.

Senior guard Logan Kohrmann (Bartelso, IL/Breese Central) leads the team and the GLVC with his 19.3 points per game average. Overall on the season, Kohrmann has 464 points shooting .515 percent from field goal range. Junior guard Oliver Stephen (Edwardsville, IL/Edwardsville) is the only other Bearcat averaging double-digits on the season at 12.2 ppg. Stephen leads the team and is ranked in the GLVC for his three point percentage with 76 made on the season for .447 percent.

Defensively, freshman forward Bryson Bultman (Nashville, IL/Nashville), freshman forward Jakobie Robinson (Indianapolis, IN/Warren Central), and Kohrmann lead McKendree's rebounding efforts. Bultman has collected 144 rebounds on the season, Robinson is next with 136, and Kohrmann is close behind with 130 total rebounds.

McKendree will close out the 2019-20 regular season with a pair of road contests at the University of Indianapolis on Feb. 27 and at Bellarmine University on Fe. 29. The game in Indianapolis, Ind. is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET while the game in Louisville is set for 3:00 p.m. ET.

Lewis is 13-11 overall on the season and 8-8 in GLVC competition. In its last contest Lewis defeated Missouri S&T 67-63. Three Flyers are averaging double-digit points on the season, Anthony D'Avanzo at 15.6 ppg, Dre Bell at 12.0 ppg, and Adam Pischke at 11.1. Lewis has two Flyers with thriple digit rebounds on the season, D'Avanzo with 197 and Brandon McCombs with 101.
