(LEBANON, Ill., Feb. 5) –
The McKendree University women's basketball team is scheduled to face Missouri S&T on Thursday, Feb, 6 in Rolla, Mo., and then Maryville University on Saturday, Feb. 8 in St. Louis, Mo. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Bearcats are 10-10 overall on the season and 3-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). In its last pair of matches, McKendree fell to Lindenwood University and Missouri-St. Louis.

Senior guard Madison Hart (Oak Creek, WI/Oak Creek) leads the team in rebounds and double-doubles on the season. Hart has collected 185 rebounds on the season and currently sits in third place in the GLVC for her 9.7 rebounds per game average. Overall on the season, Hart has tallied six double-doubles, the most of any Bearcat. Alongside her strong rebounding capabilities, Hart is also averaging 9.6 points per game for the Bearcats.

Senior guard Jordan Heberg (Romeoville, IL/Plainfield North) and sophomore Jenna Krause (Seymour, WI/Seymour) are impact players for the McKendree offense. Heberg leads the team with a 13.8 PPG average and 263 total points on the season. Jordan holds the highest three-point shooting percentage on the team at 34 percent with 33 three-point buckets made. Krause is also averaging in the double-digits to support the Bearcats' offense with 10.8 PPG.

Junior guard Callie Pohlman (Appleton, WI/Appleton North) and senior forward Brianna Johnson (Lodi, WI/Beaver Dam) are also essential players for McKendree. Pohlman has tallied 143 points, 26 steals, 44 rebounds, and 60 assists. Johnson has earned 115 points, 22 assists, and 92 rebounds for the Bearcats this season.

The Bearcats will return home to take on UMSL on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a game against Lindenwood on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m.

ABOUT MISSOURI S&T:
The Miners are 7-12 overall on the season and 3-9 in the GLVC. Missouri S&T sits in 14th place in the league rankings after falling to Southwest Baptist 74-62 in its last conference matchup. Four Minors are averaging double-digit points on the season. Laura Rodriguez leads the team with 12.1 PPG, Mykayla Baylor follows closely with 12.0 PPG, Alex Kerr is next with 11.4, and Maddie Raley rounds out the efforts with 10.1 PPG. Baylor and Kerr also lead the team in rebounds, Baylor with 181 and Kerr with 108.

ABOUT MARYVILLE:
The Saints are 11-8 overall on the season and 6-6 in GLVC play. Maryville sits in eighth place in the conference rankings after falling to Drury 93-58 in its last contest. Three Saints are averaging double-digit points per game on the season. Mary Barton leads the team and the GLVC with 22.9 points per game on average, Jayda Jansen is next with 13.5 PPG, and Abby Monis rounds out the efforts for Maryville with 12.3 PPG. Monis and UU Longs lead the team in rebounds, Monis with 163 rebounds and Longs with 101.
