LEBANON, Ill. – McKendree University men's basketball coach George Suggs has announced that his team's games this weekend against Davenport University and East-West University at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home Classic in Quincy, Ill., have been canceled due to non-COVID-19 illnesses.

The Bearcats, who are 5-2 overall on the season, were scheduled to face Davenport on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. and East-West on Sunday, Dec. 19 at Pepsi Arena on the Quincy University campus.

With the cancellation of this weekend's two games, the Bearcats are next scheduled to be in action on Sunday, Jan. 2 as they open the New Year with a Great Lakes Valley Conference game against the University of Southern Indiana. Tip-off for the USI game is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Harry M. Statham Sports Center in Lebanon, Ill.
