LEBANON, Ill. – Due to health and safety protocols within the McKendree University women's basketball program, Sunday's home game at the Melvin Price Convocation Center with Southern Indiana and Tuesday's game in Indianapolis, Ind., against the University of Indianapolis have been canceled.
 
Both games will be considered no-contests by the NCAA. According to GLVC policy, the games will not be made up this season and will be considered a "no contest" for league standing purposes per the GLVC Resocialization of Competition document.
 
With the cancellation of Sunday and Tuesday's games basketball games, the Bearcats, who haven't played since Dec. 15 at Northwest Missouri State, are expected to return to action on Saturday, Jan. 8 as they host Truman State for a 1 p.m. GLVC game at the Melvin Price Convocation Center.
