(O'FALLON, Ill., Feb.19) – The McKendree University women's hockey team played against Midland University on Friday afternoon at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. Despite all the shots taken, the Bearcats fell to the Warriors by a score of 4-0.

The Warriors scored in each period (twice in the second), to win 4-0. The Bearcat defense was spectacular in allowing only four goals despite the 42 shots from Midland.
 
In the net, junior goalie Naomi Leasck (St. Louis, MO/Lindbergh High School) made 38/42 saves in the loss.
 
Next up, McKendree will play Liberty University this Saturday at 12:30pm for another home game.
