(O'FALLON, Ill., Feb. 20) – The McKendree University women's hockey team was defeated by Liberty University 6-0 on Saturday afternoon at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex.

The Flames scored once in the first period, twice in the second, and three times in the final period for a 6-0 win. The Bearcat defense was on point in allowing only six goals despite the 63 shots from Liberty.
 
In the net, junior goalie Naomi Leasck (St. Louis, MO/Lindbergh High School) made 57/63 saves in the loss.
 
Next up, McKendree will play Lindenwood University on Feb. 26th at 7:30pm for another home game.
