Coaches Quote
"I told the guys after the game in my four seasons at McKendree, we've only ever won the opening game once, and that season we went 2-15," McKendree head coach
Scott Gyllenborg said. "In the last two years after that, we lost the opening game, and we've went on to be quite successful. That's because we took those losses to good teams early on, learned sessions, and improved. The first game is not going to determine how the season goes, your reaction to the adversity of the first game will."
