(LEBANON, Ill. – Feb. 8) – The McKendree University men's basketball team is set to host three Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) matchups this week. The Bearcats will face Southwest Baptist University on Tuesday, Feb.9; Drury University on Thursday, Feb. 11; and Missouri S&T on Saturday, Feb. 13.
Chris Foster and his team are coming off a two-game victory weekend, advancing to 6-5 (6-5 in GLVC). Most recently, McKendree defeated Southwest Baptist 77-64 in their first matchup of the season. The Bearcats got their offense off to a good start, leading 17-2 in the first six minutes of the game. McKendree held their own, with their biggest lead at 20 points halfway through the first half. The Bearcats are averaging 44.8 percent form the field, 38.2 percent from the arc, and 74.5 percent from the line.

Drury is 7-8 (7-8 in GLVC) heading into this week of competition. They are working off a 78-66 over Missouri-St. Louis on Saturday.
