The McKendree men's tennis team extended their winning streak to three games following today's 6-2 victory over Missouri Valley College.
The Bearcats opened match play by picking up two wins in doubles to secure the opening doubles point. Second doubles saw the sophomore duo of
Leonardo Frederico and
Ryan Fung earn a victory by a score of 6-3. Third doubles of saw freshman
Julappagari Anurag Reddy and freshman
Rafael Kayo secure the doubles point in a closely fought match 7-6 (5).
Singles play saw the Bearcats dominate at all positions. Frederico handily won at first singles, 6-3, 6-0. Three singles would see freshman
Subash Paramasivan win 6-0, 7-6 (5). Fung and Richardson would round out the lien up for the Bearcats, winning 7-5, 7-6(5) and 6-1, 6-4 respectively.
The Bearcats return to the court tomorrow when they take on Rockhurst on Wednesday, March 28
th.
