Senior midfielder Eddie Davis scored the game-winning goal for the McKendree men's soccer team at the buzzer to defeat Missouri S&T 2-1 on Sunday at Leemon Field.
 
How It Happened 
The Bearcats got on the board first with a goal from Logan Whitehead at the 43^rd minute of the game, with assist credit to Davis. This was Whitehead's first goal of the season.
 
In the second half, the Miners would get on the board to tie the game at the 67^th minute. 
 
As time expired, Davis would put up a shot that would find the back of the net to win the game.
 
The win improves the Bearcats record to 4-4-2.
 
Behind The Boxscore
-  The Bearcats put up 12 shots to the Miners seven. Of those 12 shots, four would be on goal for the Bearcats, while only one of the Miners shots were on goal.
-  Brett Niedzwiecki started the game in net and allowed one goal. He would earn his first win as a starter this season.
