The McKendree University men's tennis team evened their record at 5-5 following their win over Lewis and Clark Community College by a final score of 7-0.

The Bearcats dominated the Trailblazers in doubles play, earning wins at all positions. Vishnu Prasad and Julappagari Anurag Reddy took a 6-3 victory at first doubles and Jaydn Richardson and Carlos Etty cruised to a 6-0 win at second, with McKendree taking third doubles via default.

The Bearcats kept their foot on the gas n singles play and had no problems dispatching the Trailblazers across all positions, with McKendree only dropping four total games.  Two Bearcats made their first appearances of the season. Freshman Diego Castillo Samperio and Alvaro Alonso each secured their first wins of the year, with Castillo winning 6-0, 6-0 and Alonso winning via default.

McKendree returns to action on April 16^th for a Great Lakes Valley Conference match against the Screaming Eagles of the University of Southern Indiana.
