The McKendree University women's hockey team played against Liberty University in Game 2 of the ACHA National Championship on Friday night. Despite the 4-1 defeat by the Flames,
Naomi Leasck was named player of the game.

Liberty opened the scoring with a goal seven minutes into the first period. The Bearcats answered back two minutes later.
Camryn Scully was able to find the back of the net after a pass from
Quinn Atchison and
Paris Suzuki. After the end of the first period, McKendree was tied 1-1 with Liberty.
Liberty was able to score twice during the second period and once more during the third period.
