Seven members of the McKendree women's lacrosse team have earned spots on the 2021 All-Great Lakes Valley Conference team.
Attacker
Kat Albrecht was the lone Bearcat to make the first team squad. Senior attacker Rylee Skachanko, and midfielder

Jess Morey all earned spots on the second team. Attacker
Sydney Tiemann, goalkeeper
Clara Andrews and defender
Brittany Koch all earned honorable mention.
Albrecht started in all 13 games this season and finished the regular season leading the team in points with 88 points off 41 goals and 47 assists, the latter is tied for the third most in the country. She also dished out 3.62 assists per game which is also places her at third in the nation. Albrecht is also third in the nation for points per game with 6.67.
Albrecht finished the regular season converting on 13-16 free position shots and picking up 28 ground balls.
Fellow attacker Rylee Skachanko paced the squad in goals, finishing with 49 goals, while registering 74 goals and 64 of those on goal, and was second on the team in total points with 52. Skachanko was second on the team with 40 draw controls and picked up 19 ground balls.
Joining Skachanko on the second team is fellow senior midfielder
Sarah Hardin. Hardin started all 13 games for the Bearcats, was third in the team goals and points, recording 40 and 35, respectively. Hardin led the Bearcats in draw controls, corralling 82, which places her at third in the conference. Defensively, Hardin forced 13 turnovers and picked up 26 ground balls
.
The final Bearcat to earn second team honors is defender
Jess Morey. Morey started in all 13 game for McKendree, recording 24 points including 16 goals. Morey picked up 25 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers.
Redshift freshman attacker
Sydney Tiemann earned an honorable mention after starting all 13 games and recording 36 goals, five assists and lead the team with 17 caused turnovers. Tiemann is joined by goalkeeper
Clara Andrews, who recorded 10 wins and recorded 96 saves. The final honorable mention is freshman
Brittany Koch, who forced eight turnovers and picked up 14 ground balls.
McKendree returns to action on April 30 when they compete in the GLVC Women's Lacrosse Championship semifinals against No.2 University of Indianapolis Greyhounds at 6:30 at Leemon Field.
