O'FALLON, Ill. – The No. 2 ranked McKendree University men's swimming and diving team picked up a huge 151-145 win her Friday afternoon over top-ranked University of Indianapolis at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex Pool.
Friday's win improved the Bearcats to 5-0 on the season and the victory was the first for the Bearcats in a dual meet against the Greyhounds since the program began in 2017.
Against the top-ranked Greyhounds, the Bearcats won eight of the 16 events that were held, including taking home first place in the 400 freestyle relay, which was the final event of the meet. That relay win sealed the Bearcats' win as they scored 11 points to the four points UIndy scored by finishing second.
Two Bearcats won multiple events in Friday's dual as sophomore
Jackson Lustig (Milwaukee, Wis./Pius XI) won three individual events and junior
