LEBANON, Ill. - Due to the threat of inclement weather this coming Sunday, McKendree University softball head coach Heather Tarter has announced her team's home Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader with Maryville University scheduled for Sunday has been pushed up two days and will now be played on Friday, April 22 beginning at 12 p.m. at Bearcat Field.

With the change in the schedule, Tarter has also announced that her team's Senior Day game will now held at Saturday's home GLVC doubleheader with Lindenwood, instead of the originally scheduled Maryville game. The Lindenwood doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m.

The Senior Day festivities for the Bearcats' six-member senior class will be held following the completion of Saturday's doubleheader with the Lions. 

McKendree comes into this weekend's action sporting a 17-21 overall record and a 9-13 mark in the GLVC. The Bearcats are currently sitting in 10th place in the league standings with six games left in the regular season. The top eight teams at the end of the regular season will qualify for this year's GLVC Tournament, which is scheduled for May 5-9 at East Peoria, Ill.
