LEBANON, Ill. - No.12 McKendree University men's wrestling (7-3, 2-0 GLVC) took a fifth-straight dual victory on Monday night with a commanding 32-15, shorthanded victory over GLVC-foe Ouachita Baptist at MPCC. The Bearcats were led to victory by pinfalls wins in the 141 and 149 classes as well as major decisions in the 165 and 174 classes. McKendree won its fifth dual match in a row after dropping two of its first three to begin the season. The Bearcats are on the road for their next Great Lakes Valley Conference dual in Grand Rapids, Michigan, taking on Davenport.

Joey Semerad (6-7) grabbed his first pin victory of the year with his first period (2:47) canning of OBU's Zander Fields. It was one of two pinfalls of the night for the Bearcats.
Redshirt senior 165
Jordan Alcala (3-3) netted a second major decison of the season with a 12-0 victory in his matchup.Â
Redshirt freshman 174
Zeke Waltz (20-8) added the fourth extra-point win of the outing with a 13-3 major. It marked his sixth major of the season.Â
