LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University men's swimming and diving sent its seniors out in style with a dominating 207-82 win over the Unviersity of Missouri-St. Louis on Friday at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex. The Bearcats won 11 out of 14 swim events, and placed first, second, and third in six of them. The win finishes McKendree's dual meet season with a record of 8-0.

Noah Fishel were the seniors honored on Friday night. Two of these seniors, Law and Lichinsky, started the meet with a 200 Medley Relay win, combining with sophomore
Patryk Rozenek and junior Filipe Pinherio, the 'A' team clocked a time of 1:29.72
Distance events were controlled by Bearcats as the 1000 and 500 freestyle events were swept by McKendree, with junior
Chance Conde winning both with times of 9:40.90 and 4:41.24. Sophomore Jack Lustig and freshman
Frankie Runge finished second and third in the 1000 with times of 9:52.35 and 10:04.52, respectively. In the 500 freestyle, a pair of freshmen closed out the top three with
Preston Troyer finishing in second (4:52.54) and
Caden Brooks touching third (4:48.14).
Sophomore
Leo Gandaria-Hernandez won the 200 freestyle (1:41.26), followed by his teammates Lichinsky (1:43.16) and freshman
Mario Perez Torrado (1:44.47).
Other highlights from Friday night included Rozenek winning the 100 backstroke (51.25) and sophomore
Arthur Souza winning the 100 freestyle (46.33). Both events featured Bearcats finishing first, second, and third respectively.
To end the night and finish his dual meet career, Linchinsky added a win to the Bearcats' total with a time of 50.01 in the 100 butterfly. Sophomore Nick Khatkovvy (52.27) and freshman
Joey Ovanic (52.57) followed with second and third place finishes.
The Bearcats will be back in the pool Feb. 8-11 for their conference championship in Evansville, Ind. at the Deaconess Aquatic Center.
