Salem, W.Va - McKendree men's water polo competed at the WWPA Morgantown Classic where they competed against Salem University (15-3), Gannon University (7-8), and Mercyhurst University (3-11), finishing 1-2 over three games of conference action.
The Bearcats kicked off the weekend against the Gannon Golden Knights where they were defeated 15-12. Senior Breno Tebet led the way for McKendree with six goals and three assists.
Later in the afternoon, McKendree played the Salem Tigers who sit atop the WWPA and fell by a score of 20-10. Tebet once again led the way with three goals.
The Bearcats closed out the weekend with a 20-11 win over the Mercyhurst Lakers. Breno Tebet and Sophomores Zach Callejas and James Ramey commanded the attack with three goals apiece. Fifth Year senior Connor Pulido and freshman Yannick Robertson added two assists as well.
This concludes the regular season action for McKendree, and their next action comes at the WWPA Conference Championships that will occur on Fri. Nov, 17- Nov.19.
