QUINCY, Ill. – Finishing up the first road weekend in GLVC play, the Bearcats (5-3, 2-2 GLVC) battled the Quincy University Hawks on Saturday, December 9th. The Hawks were able to come out with the win by the score of 80-63.
As a team, the Bearcats shot 20-of-42 for 47.6%. They went 18-of-29 from the charity stripe.
Milos Vicentic led the Hawks with 22 points on 9-of-16 from the field. He also pulled down 6 rebounds. Caleb Zurliene was also in double figures with 19 including 9-of-10 from the free throw line. The Aviston, Illinois pulled down seven rebounds and blocked two shots.
McKendree will step out of conference play when they welcome Thomas More University to Lebanon on Wednesday, December 13th with tip off scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
