LEBANON, Ill. – The Bearcats hosted the Rockhurst University Hawks on Sunday, April 25^th at Leemon Field for their final game of the 2023 slate. The Hawks won by the score of 18-5.

Just three minutes into the contest Jayna Barnden gave the Bearcats the 1-0 lead on an assist from Jenna Sugarman. At the 9:49 mark, Kat Albrecht made it 2-0 McKendree. Rockhurst tied the game at 2, but Albrecht would score her 2^nd of the contest with three minutes left in the opening stanza.

Over the 2^nd and 3^rd quarters, Rockhurst scored 13 unanswered goals to make it 15-3. Early in the 4^th quarter, Sugarman and Albrecht got the Bearcats back to within 10 goals, before Rockhurst finished the contest with 3 more goals.

With her save in the final minute of the 3^rd quarter, Clara Andrews became new all-time leader in saves with 525.

Before the game, the Bearcats honored their 3 seniors for their time and commitment to the program. Those 3 were Kat Albrecht, Clara Andrews and Molly Muennich.
