LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University women's volleyball fell to William Jewell College in its second Great Lakes Valley Conference match on Saturday. The Bearcats move to 7-6 on the season and 0-2 in GLVC play.  

William Jewell held firm in the three-set match, securing its first conference win of the season. The Cardinals took the sets 25-22, 25-19, and 25-16.  

McKendree was led in hitting by junior outside hitter Emma McIlhargie who tallied eight kills and senior opposite side hitter Colleen Preusser with seven kills. Preusser also snagged 10 digs and junior libero Keely Davis accounted for 11 digs. On the blocks, senior middle hitter Lauren McCurley posted four.  

Coming up, the Bearcats continue GLVC play at the University of St. Louis-Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 3 p.m.
