LEBANON, Ill. - McKendree University women's basketball is on the road this week with two Great Lakes Valley Conference games; first at Lewis University on Thursday, Jan. 18 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a contest at the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
The Bearcats sport a 12-3 overall record and an 8-1 record in the GLVC to tie for first place with Lewis. As a team, McKendree remains in the top five of the conference for field goal percentage (44.6 percent) and three-point field goal percentage (31.6 percent).
The Flyers are 9-6 overall and 8-1 in conference play after their first conference loss to Rockhurst last weekend. Lewis ranks third in three-point percentage, netting 31.8 percent of shots beyond the arc.
The Greyhounds are 8-7 on the year with a 5-4 conference record heading into the weekend. They will face Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday before meeting McKendree on Saturday. Indianapolis is currently leading the GLVC in team rebounding while also ranking fourth in points per game, averaging 75.3 points.
Both games will be streamed on the GLVC Sports Network in addition to live statistics during the game.
