ST. CHARLES, Mo. - McKendree University men's volleyball fell in a three-set match to Lindenwood University on Wednesday evening. The Bearcats move to 13-8 overall and 7-5 in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association.
Lindenwood took the win in the first three sets by scores of 25-21, 32-30, and 25-23.
McKendree was led in kills by freshman right side hitter Nathan Flayter with nine followed by junior outside hitter Kevin Schuele with seven. Schuele also tallied a team-high two aces.
On the defensive side, Flayter led again with six solo blocks and 10 digs. Redshirt senior setter Tyler Poulsen added three solo blocks and eight digs.
