St. Charles, MO- The Men's Bearcat Rugby team traveled to Lindenwood University this past weekend to face off against the Lions. McKendree went up early, 12-10 in the first half, after two tries by Dominic Watson. The team held strong with the lead for several possessions until the Lions finally responded near the end of the half to get a score and put themselves up 15-12. In the second half the Bearcats fought valiantly, but the Lions had a strong finish bringing them to 44-12 to finish the game. The Lions would go on to become the Midwest Rugby Conference Champions after defeating Adrian College on Saturday.
