KANSAS CITY, Mo. - McKendree University women's lacrosse finished their stay in Kansas City as they battled the Rockhurst University Hawks and fell by the score of 12-5.
Senior Olivia Julian scored the lone first goal for the Bearcats late in the first quarter and fell into a 6-1 hole at the half.
To start the second half Junior Jenna Sugarman scored at the 6:32 mark of the third quarter.
The fourth quarter saw three Bearcats score. Freshman Mackenzie Stroisch off an assist from senior Riley Bishop who also scored. Sophomore Jayna Barnden who was assisted from freshman Lexi Macleod also scored.
The Bearcats hit the road next weekend against the University of Indianapolis and Lewis University for their final regular season games of the 2024 season. They enter the final weekend in a five-way tie for the last two spots in the GLVC tournament.
