SAINT LOUIS, MO – McKendree University cross country competed in their second meet of the 2024 season at the Saint Louis University Billiken Invite. 

Sophomore Chloe Gough led the way in the women's 5k with a time of 22:35.9. Gough placed 18th overall. 

Leading the way for the men once again was junior Blake Westrater who placed 8th overall with a time of 29:24.3. Westrater's finish marks the first top 10 placement of his cross country career and was amongst a field of many division I harriers.  

The Bearcats are back in action on Oct. 12th at the Brian T. Simpson invite.
