Men's Cross Country Places Fourth in Opening Meet
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- The McKendree men's Cross Country team had a repeat fourth place finish at the WashU Gabby Reuveni meet Saturday morning, scoring 103 points.
The Bearcats had a strong fourth place out of seven total teams, with freshman Cole Dachsteiner leading the team, placing 29th with a time of 17:17.4. The other athletes representing the Bearcats followed closely, with freshman Ayden Forbis placing 33rd with a 17:19.1 time, freshman Anthony Tillman placing 38th with a time of 17:48.3. Outside the top 50 included sophomore Elijah Baer and senior Ostin Habeck placing 55th and 56th, earning a 18:45.2 and 18:52.4 time, respectively.
