QUINCY, Ill. | Pepsi Arena - No.2 McKendree University women's wrestling (11-0, 3-0 GLVC) opened up the inaugural Great Lakes Valley Conference campaign with three more than dominant wins, going for dual victories over Northern Michigan, Upper Iowa, and Quincy in the first of a two-leg GLVC event season. The Bearcats owned the day with a 37-6 result against the Wildcats, a 49-0 finish over the Peacocks, and a 31-5 win against the hosting-Hawks, all while dropping just two individual meatches overall. McKendree remains undefeated in duals this winter with the 3-0 finish at the league duals, moving up to 11-0 on the 2025-26 campaign. The Bearcats get a quick break for the holiday season now before jumping back into action at the NWCA National Duals Championship at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa on January 9-10.
