LEBANON, Ill. - The Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) has announced its 2024 All-Academic team with 90 total players being honored amongst the six institutions. 

To qualify, a student-athlete must have met the following criteria:  

• Carry over a 3.0 cumulative GPA  
• Classified as a full-time student for all terms of attendance  
• Completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at their institution 

The Bearcats had 15 honored for their tremendous efforts in the classroom: 

Senior attacker Jespyn Bishop (Brighton, Colo.) – Criminal Justice 
Senior goalkeeper Jimmy Cronin (Naperville, Ill.) – Education 
Sophomore attacker Rowan Daughtrey (Commerce City, Colo.) – Biopsychology 
Sophomore attacker Isaac Demski (Eastvale, Calif.) – Accounting 
Junior attacker Kris Eyolfson (Winnipeg, Canada) – Exercise Science & Sports Performance 
Senior goalkeeper Benton Fonner (St. Louis, Mo.) – Biology 
Junior attacker Quinten Gallagher (St. Louis, Mo.) – Exercise Science & Sports Performance 
Senior utility Eli Grande (San Bernardino, Calif.) – Economics and Finance 
Freshman utility Kevin Kehoe (Chicago, Ill.) – Sports Management 
Sophomore attacker Emi Martinez (Mexico City, Mexico) – Biology 
Senior utility/center Alex Napawan (St. Louis, Mo.) – Accounting 
Senior attacker Luke Schmidt (St. Louis, Mo.) – Marketing 
Junior attacker Riccardo Vettore (Padova, Italy) – Economics 
Sophomore forward Nathan Weintraub (San Antonio, Texas) – Cybersecurity
