SHREWSBURY, Mo. - The McKendree women's bowling team faced off in the Columbia 300 Saints Invite this past weekend with a seventh-place finish out of 15 teams.
The Bearcats finished seventh overall going 8-5, knocking down 13,837 pins in 70 total games, averaging 197.7 pins a game. Wichita State University finished first overall knocking down 15,682 pins.Â
Going into Sunday's championship bracket the Bearcats were qualified for 10th, going undefeated on Sunday taking down Valparaiso University, Oklahoma Christian University, and Wisconsin-Whitewater University to finish seventh.Â
The Bearcats are back on the lanes this weekend, Feb. 7-9, competing in the Flyer Classic in Lockport, Ill., and McKendree Baker Challenge in Fairview Heights, Ill.
