Women's Bowling Places 5th at USBC Sectionals

FORT WORTH, Texas - The McKendree women's bowling team competed in the USBC Sectionals this past weekend, placing fifth overall.

After day one, the Bearcats were sitting in fourth place with a total of 6,014 pins in 32 games. On day two, McKendree moved to fifth place with a two-day total of 11,895 pins. The Bearcats were five pins behind Lindenwood University from advancing to the Intercollegiate Team Championships.

In individual standings, junior Cierra Brown placed 19th overall, knocking down 1,230 pins.

The Bearcats are back on the lanes March 14-16 as they compete in the C300 Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tennesse.
