Women's Bowling Finishes 13th at C300 Music City Classic

SMYRNA, Tenn. - The McKendree University women's bowling team competed in the C300 Music City Classic this past weekend finishing 13th overall.

After day one of the classic, the Bearcats were 10th overall after taking down Quincy University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Arkansas State University in Baker Matches. On Saturday, McKendree took down Wright State University in Traditional Matches, moving to 13th.

On the final day, McKendree defeated Lewis University, bringing the Bearcats overall weekend record to 5-6 on the weekend. The Bearcats placed 13th out of 31 teams, knocking down 10,117 pins and averaging 183.9 pins per game.

In individual standings, junior Cierra Brown finished 41st overall knocking down 1,149 pins and averaging 191.5 pins a game.

McKendree is back in action this weekend, March 21-23 as they compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships in Quincy, Ill.
