LOUISVILLE, Ky. | National Fastpitch Coaches Association - McKendree University softball (20-11, 6-2 GLVC) remained in the latest NFCA / GOROUT Division II National Poll this week, sitting at No.22 after a lengthy spring break stretch, which featured 10 games. With the ranking, the Bearcats have now spent six-straight weeks in the national poll, setting the program-high, once again. McKendree went 3-1 in its second weekend of Great Lakes Valley Conference play, moving to 6-2 overall in league play. The spring break trip to Branson also saw another coaching milestone for head coach
Heather Tarter, who achieved her 200th career win as a collegiate head coach, which came in the win over Northern State on March 12. The Bearcats will get back to their home field for the next games as they play host to Lincoln and Missouri S&T at Bearcat Field on March 22 and 23.
