QUINCY, Ill. - The McKendree women's bowling team is set to compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships this weekend, March 21-23 at the Casino Lanes in Quincy, Ill.

The Bearcats are set to be the No. 2 seed going into the GLVC Championships with a No. 18 RPI ranking. On Friday, McKendree will face off against No.7 University of Indianapolis at 8:30 a.m. The winner of that match will take on the winner of Match 3 with No.3 Oklahoma Christian University and No. 6 Lewis University.

This three day tournament will feature double elimination, best of three format including a five-person Traditional team match, followed by a Baker Total Pinfall and Baker best-of-seven match play, if necessary, per contest.

The GLVC Championships will be streamed on GLVC Sports Network free of charge. Tickets must be purchased in advance at GLVCsports.com/tickets, and no cash will be accepted at the site of competition. Adult tickets are $15, $7.50 for students with ID, and $5 for youth aged 6-12th grade. Children five and under will be admitted for free.
