INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has announced its women's bowling GLVC Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, November 3rd, as freshman Miranda Duff (Smithton, Ill.) has received the honor.
Duff led her 15th-ranked McKendree team to a first-place finish in their first NCAA competition of the season at the Windy City Classic in Des Plaines, Illinois, over the weekend, as the first-year bowler outscored 113 other individuals to claim the top spot with a 1,080 sum of total and a 216.00 sum of average.
The native of Smithton averaged 21.60 pins in 133 frames within traditional play, with marks of 82.8 fill percentage, 45.5 strike percentage, and 80.0 makeable spare percentage. In Baker competition, Duff averaged 18.57 pins in 84 frames.
This is Duff's first conference weekly award, as McKendree's last bowler to win the accolade was Shanna Kimball on February 12th, 2026.
