Women's Bowling Named to Four GLVC Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - McKendree University women's bowling earned four individual Great Lakes Valley Conference awards as announced at the women's league banquet on Thursday evening.

Graduate student Alyssa Alexander was voted All-GLVC First Team. Throughout the 2024-25 season, Alexander had a Traditional average of 20.34 and Baker's average of 20. Alexander achieved two Athlete of the Week awards this season after her outstanding performance at the MOTIV Ladyjack Classic and the Big Red Invite.

Joining Alexander in All-GLVC selections are graduate student Sarah Chilvers and junior Grace Ogle being named All-GLVC Honorable Mention. Chilvers had a Traditional average of 18.29 and a Baker's average of 19.69, while Ogle tallied a traditional average of 19.53 and a Baker's average of 18.34. Chilvers was voted to the James R. Spalding Sportsmanship team.

The Bearcats start the first day of the GLVC Championships on Friday, March 21 at 8:30 a.m. against the University of Indianapolis.
