QUINCY, Ill. - The McKendree University women's bowling team capped off the 2024-25 season competing in the GLVC Championships this past weekend.

On day one, McKendree swept the University of Indianapolis 2-0, knocking down 1,843 pins. Against the Hounds, junior duo Emma Zinn and Grace Ogle paced Traditional play, notching games of 221 and 201, respectively. The Bearcats faced Oklahoma Christian University for the afternoon session falling 2-1. The Eagles took the first match but the Bearcats snapped back with four 200-plus marks in the Baker portion to tie the match. McKendree took the first game in the best-of-seven, but it wouldn't be enough as the Eagles won the next four games.

On day two, McKendree faced off against Newman University falling 2-1. The Bearcats won the Traditional match but fell to the Jets in the Baker Match and best-of-seven round.
